Jason Groller Named PSAC Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg wrestling red-shirt sophomore heavyweight Jason Groller (Easton/Easton) was named the PSAC Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday after posting a perfect 3-0 record last week with two victories by fall.

Groller began by pinning Kenny Bluska of 12th-ranked Mercyhurst in 4:03 on Friday before following with a fall over Chris Wolski of Gannon in 1:33 on Saturday. His pin over Wolski preserved a 27-15 victory for the Red Raiders. Groller then finished the weekend with an 8-3 decision over Adrian Young of ninth-ranked West Liberty State on Sunday.

Groller currently has a 9-4 overall record this season with three falls and one major decision. In 18 career matches, he is 13-5 with four falls.

The Red Raiders return to action on Thursday in their final dual match of the season when they face 20th-ranked Kutztown at 7:30 p.m.
