LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Shippensburg University women's volleyball head coach Leanne Piscotty was named PSAC Eastern Division Coach of the Year on Tuesday while five Lady Raiders received All-PSAC Eastern Division honors, including four first team selections.

Earning first team all-conference accolades for Shippensburg (30-11) were sophomore Kali Antolik (Johnstown/Westmont Hilltop), junior Maureen DuVall (Poolesville, Md./Poolesville), red-shirt sophomore Brittany Roche (Morrisville/Pennsbury) and sophomore Colleen Toomey (Reading/Muhlenberg).

Sophomore Cindel Young (McConnellsburg/Broadfoarding Christian) received All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team honors.

After leading Shippensburg to a school-record 30 wins, its second PSAC Eastern Division title in the last four years and the program's first-ever berth in the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championship, Piscotty was named Eastern Division Coach of the Year for the second time in her four seasons at Shippensburg. She also received the honor in 2004 following her first season with the Lady Raiders.

The previous record for wins in a season was 24 set first by the 1982 team and equalled by Piscotty's 2006 squad. Shippensburg also finished with a perfect 10-0 record in the PSAC Eastern Division, a feat done only once before in Shippensburg history by the 1990 Lady Raiders.

Heading into Thursday's NCAA Atlantic Region Championship match with Kutztown, Antolik leads Shippensburg with 426 kills, the second-highest single-season total in school history while posting a .307 hitting percentage. She was twice named PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week this season on September 24 and October 9 and has totaled 10 or more kills in a match 23 times, totaling a career-high 18 against Bryant on September 21.

Antolik also leads the team in blocks with 111 which includes 91 block assists to set a new school, single-season record. The previous mark was 88 set by Aimee Strine in 1988.

The team’s primary setter in a 6-2 offense, DuVall set a new single-season school record in assists and currently has 1,356, surpassing her previous school record of 1,270 set in 2005. She enters Thursday with 3,220 career assists and is just 10 shy of setting a new school record and surpassing Amber Schmerfeld who totaled 3,229 from 2002-04.

DuVall was named PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week twice this season on September 18 and October 30 while totaling a triple-double with a career-high 17 kills, 47 assists and 14 digs in a 3-2 victory at Millersville on September 11. She also had a career-high 25 digs in a 3-1 victory at Kutztown on October 30.

After transferring from Georgia State, Roche is ranked second on the team in kills with 422 which is also the third-highest single-season total in school history. She was named PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week on October 2 and has totaled a team-high nine double doubles this season.

Roche has totaled 10 or more kills in a match 20 times this season, totaling a career-high 21, twice while posting 10 or more digs 10 times, with a career-high of 20 twice.

Toomey has totaled 394 kills in 41 matches this season which the sixth-highest single-season total in school history. She became the fourth Lady Raider to be named PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week when she received the honor on November 6. With eight double doubles, Toomey is second on the team behind Roche's nine.

Toomey is also second on team in digs with 337, second only behind junior libero Kelsi Hoffman (York/West York), while totaling 10 or more kills in 19 matches which is second behind only Antolik. She leads the team with 73 service aces.

The 2006 PSAC Eastern Division Rookie of the Year, Young was named second team all-conference for the second-straight season. She is currently second on the team in blocks with 108 and is tied with Antolik with a school-record 91 block assists.

Young leads the team with 145 games played, having missed just one all season, while ranking fourth in kills with 343.

Shippensburg, seeded fourth in this year's NCAA Atlantic Region Championship, will take on fifth-seeded Kutztown on Thursday at Hamer Hall on the campus of California (Pa.) beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
