Lady Raiders Earn Nine Top-10 Finishes On Final Day of Fred Hardy Invitational

RICHMOND, Va. - Sophomore Megan Fogle (Wrightsville, Pa./Eastern) finished in fifth place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.20 seconds to highlight the final day of competition for the Shippensburg University women's track and field team at the Fred Hardy Invitational in Richmond, Va. Senior Lindsey Incorvati (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Township) also finished in the Top-10 for the event, taking eighth place with a time of 1:00.56.

Freshman Siobhan Richards (York Haven, Pa./York Haven) posted two Top-10 finishes on the day, taking ninth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.87 seconds as well as ninth in the 200 meter dash after a run of 26.68 seconds. Richards finished the weekend with three Top-10 finishes after earning a fourth-place finish on Friday in the 400-meter hurdles.

Junior Megan Schweighofer (Tyler Hill, Pa./Honesdale) earned an eighth place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 37.66 meters. Freshman Karen Good (Terre Hill, Pa./Garden Spot) also earned an eighth place finish with a leap of 10.11 meters in the triple jump.

Freshman Kristen Mcgoldrick (Boothwyn, Pa./Garnet Valley) took sixth place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:21.53. Senior Anna Mack (Olyphant, Pa./Lakeland) took eighth place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.74 seconds, while senior Flo Yerokun (Perkiomenville, Pa./Spring-Ford) finished right behind Richards in the 100 meter dash, earning tenth place with a time of 12.95 seconds.

The Shippensburg University women's track and field team will return to action next weekend on Saturday when the Lady Raiders travel to the University of Maryland to participate in the Terrapin Invitational.
