Lady Raider Lacrosse Game at Philadelphia on Tuesday Rescheduled

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg women's lacrosse game at Philadelphia University scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed because of inclement weather. The game will now be played next Thursday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m., at Philadelphia'a Ravenhill Field.

After a rebuilding season in 2005, the Lady Raiders found their way back into the PSAC Women's Lacrosse Championship as the No. 4-seed, posting a record of 8-8 overall and 6-6 in the PSAC. The team will take the field in 2007 under first-year head coach Naomi Radio, who was an assistant with the Lady Raiders in 2006 under Bertie Landes.

Shippensburg will now open its season on Wednesday, March 21 at Indiana (Pa.) at Miller Stadium beginning at 4:00 p.m. The first home game for the Lady Raiders will be on Saturday, March 24 when the take on Slippery Rock at Robb Sports Complex at 1:00 p.m.
