Five Red Raiders Place at the Elizabethtown Invitational

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Just one week before the PSAC championships, Shippensburg rested most of its normal runners, not earning a team score yet having five Red Raiders place at the Elizabethtown Invitational.
The best finisher for the Red Raiders on Saturday was freshman Nate King (Andreas/Tamaqua), who earned a 49th-place finish in a time of 21:10. Freshman Mike Fulton (New Cumberland/Cedar Cliff) finished in 54th-place with a time of 21:13, while Jordan Shick (Mechanicsburg/Cumberland Valley) finished in 64th-place with a time of 21:36.
Freshman Corey Creek (New Cumberland/Cedar Cliff) also ran the course in 21:50.
Shippensburg will travel to Bloomsburg University for the PSAC Championships on Saturday, October 28. Start time is 11:00 a.m. The Red Raiders have finished in third-place each of the past two seasons and will look for their first PSAC Championship in the history of the program.
