Track and Field to Compete at Dickinson Multi-Event on Tuesday

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Due to the fact that day two of competition at the PSAC East Challenge hosted by Millersville on Saturday was cancelled because of weather conditions, the Shippensburg men's and women's track and field teams will travel to Carlisle on Tuesday to compete in the Dickinson Multi-Event.

Competition at the Multi-Event begins at 1:00 p.m.

The men's and women's track and field teams recorded three victories in the hammer throw and javelin throw Friday night at the PSAC East Challenge, led by Senior Megan Schweighofer (Tyler Hill/Honesdale) who took home first-place for the women in the hammer throw.

Meanwhile, sophomore David Green (Waynesboro/South Western) and senior Nate Reider (York/Dallastown) each took home victories in the men's hammer and javelin throw, respectively.

Following Tuesday's competition, Shippensburg will travel to Bucknell on Friday, April 13 for the Bison Outdoor Classic.
