EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg University men's track and field sophomore Don Graybill (Ephrata/Cocalico) tied East Stroudsburg’s Matt Gallup in the pole vault Saturday at the ninth annual Dick DeSchriver Invitational hosted by East Stroudsburg University.

Graybill’s vault of 15-feet was one of two first-place finishes to guide the Shippensburg men’s indoor track and field team inside Koehler Fieldhouse.

Red-shirt freshman Leander Toney (Lancaster/J.P.McCaskey) once again won the high jump competition at an event, taking top honors Saturday with a jump of 6-feet, 8-inches that preserves his rank as the leading high jumper in the PSAC.

Two Red Raiders finished highly ranked in the triple jump, as senior Maurice Barbour (Chambersburg/Chambersburg) and red-shirt freshman Jesse Brown (Philadelphia/Girard College) earned second and third place respectively in the event. Barbour had a leap of 44' 8 3/4" while Brown recorded a triple jump of 44-feet.

Meanwhile, junior Sean Cohick (Shippensburg/Big Spring) finished second in the long jump with a leap of 21' 11".

In the shot put, freshmen Steve D’Arcy (Hanover N.J./East Hanover) and Tappah Dinnall (Chambersburg/Chambersburg) finished in third and fourth place, respectively.

Shippensburg will return to action on Friday when they travel to New York to compete in the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.
