Snow Cancels All Three Games Scheduled for Wednesday

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Due to snow and other inclement weather in northern Pennsylvania on Wednesday, all three scheduled games for the Shippensburg University baseball, softball and lacrosse teams have been cancelled. The softball and lacrosse games have been moved to Thursday, but the baseball game at East Stroudsburg University will not be made up.

The Lady Raider softball team will travel to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division rival Kutztown University on Thursday for a doubleheader beginning at 2:30 p.m., at North Campus Field. Shippensburg (20-10, 1-1 PSAC East) has won 11 of its last 12.

Meanwhile, the Lady Raider lacrosse team will travel to Bloomsburg University on Thursday at 4:00 p.m., on Bloomsburg's upper campus. Shippensburg (1-3, 1-2 PSAC) is coming off of its first conference win on Sunday in which the team was impressive in a 12-4 victory over East Stroudsburg at home.

The Red Raider baseball team will be at home at Fairchild Field on Friday for a doubleheader against PSAC Western Division rival California University (Pa.) beginning at 1:00 p.m. Shippensburg has split in each of its last three doubleheaders, but has won 12 of its last 17 games.
