Saturday's Baseball Doubleheader Game Time Moved Up One Hour

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Because of impending rain, the Shippensburg baseball doubleheader scheduled with California (Pa.) for Saturday at Fairchild Field has been changed from a 1:00 p.m., start time to Noon.

On Friday, Shippensburg travels to Washington, Pa., to take on the Vulcans in a meeting between the top two teams in the PSAC Western Division at Consol Energy Park before they wrap up their four-game series on Saturday.

The Red Raiders enter the series with a 16-13 overall record, including a mark of 6-2 in the PSAC Western Division and are ranked seventh in the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's North Atlantic Regional poll.

Meanwhile, the Vulcans, ranked fifth in the region, are 18-9 overall and are also 6-2 in the PSAC Western Division.
