Friday's Baseball Game Against West Chester Rescheduled For Wednesday
Mar. 23, 2007SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Due to the inclement weather in the state of Pennsylvania on Friday, the Shippensburg baseball game scheduled against West Chester has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, March 28, at 3:30 p.m. from Serpico Stadium.
This is the second time that the scheduled contest against
West Chester has been rescheduled. The game was originally scheduled for
this past Wednesday.
Shippensburg (5-10) has had a total of six games cancelled so far this season
because of inclement weather. The team was originally slated to make its
2007 home debut in
a nine-inning game on Saturday, March 3 at home versus East Stroudsburg.
Shippensburg is still scheduled to make its home debut tomorrow on Saturday, March 24, in a doubleheader against Mansfield University that begins at 1 p.m. If weather permits, it will be the first game action for the Red Raiders in 12 days.
The Red Raiders have won its last two-straight contests, including a 9-5 win at No. 2-ranked Tampa on March 10.
