Baseball Games Against Columbia Union and West Chester Rescheduled
Mar. 19, 2007SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Because of inclement weather, the Shippensburg baseball games against both Columbia Union and West Chester have been postponed and rescheduled.
Originally scheduled for
Monday, March 19, the Red Raiders' doubleheader against Columbia Union
at Fairchild Field has been rescheduled for Monday, April 9
at
1:00 p.m. Meanwhile, the team's single, nine-inning contest at West
Chester, scheduled for Wednesday, has been moved to Friday, March 23 at
3:00 p.m.,
at West Chester's Serpico Stadium.
Shippensburg (5-10) has had a total of five games cancelled so far this season
because of inclement weather. The team was originally slated to make its
2007 home debut in
a nine-inning game on Saturday, March 3 at home versus East Stroudsburg.
The Red Raiders have won its last two-straight contests, including a 9-5 win at No. 2-ranked Tampa on March 10.
