Shippensburg Baseball's Home Opener Postponed

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University baseball team's home opener, originally scheduled for Sunday, March 18 against Bloomsburg, has been postponed because of inclement weather. A new date has yet to be decided.

The Red Raiders are also scheduled to play a doubleheader against Columbia Union on Monday, March 19 beginning at 1 p.m. A determination on that game will be made Monday morning.

Sunday's game marks the fourth game of Shippensburg's season cancelled because of inclement weather. The Red Raiders are currently 5-10 and have won two-straight games, including a 9-5 victory over No.2-ranked Tampa.
